SCA Townsville Xmas Party Little Kids

*** The little kids party has been cancelled, due to the to a lack of interest from Spina families.

Big Kids There will be a party for the big kids at the SCA shed from 6:00pm till 12:00ish.  There will be entertainment and the SCA roast meals at a cost of $15.00 for the night,   So come along and bring some friends for a good night out.

MRA TOY RUN

 The Townsville and Districts Motorcycle Riders Association will be conducting their annual Christmas Toy Run, in aid of the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal. Unfortunately, due to road works and other bookings, we have had to amend our start point and route.  It is now confirmed that riders will assemble at the Dean Street car park from 1.30pm and depart at 3pm under police escort, riders will follow a set route to the Thuringowa RSL Club grounds.

The AGM will commence at 5pm sharp. There will be a committee at 3pm to finalise anything that may still be outstanding, prior to the AGM.  There will be a free sausage sizzle and drinks can be purchased from the bar after the meeting.  If you think that you may be able to help out by taking up a position on the local sub committee please do not hesitate in talking to Macca and he will be able to fill you in on the roles and responsibilities.  All positions are currently up for grabs, nomination forms are available at the bar and are to be filled out correctly and handed to Yowie no later than the 03 Jan 2009.

As we all know we have to go up the Palmerston to get there. The prices are reasonable and the food is superb as a couple of us found while on the 2008 Poka Run. Departure: Mobil at Yabulu 0730am

FLETCHERS CREEK OVERNIGHT CAMP

Bring the swimmers and towels. This is usually a good ride. Meals: Kelly van will cater for the trip first meal lunch on Sat last meal breakfast Sunday. Departure: BP Cluden 8am.

NATIONAL AGM ROCKHAMPTON

We will be camping in the Riverside Tourist Park at 2 Reany St NTH Rockhampton. If you want to book a cabin their number is 07 49223779, get in early. Meals: The Kelly Van will cater for some of the meals while at Rockhampton these meals are as yet to be finalised. There will also be meals available from one of the local clubs. If this is not to your liking there are a numerous pubs that put on good meals, the Criterion being one of them.  Departure: BP Cluden 6am Friday 10 April.
