Welcome to the Southern Cross Townsville Ride Calendar. New rides including contact and meeting information will appear in here as rides are decided on, so add this page to your favourites. Events such as rally's from other clubs, will also appear in this area.

If you have suggestions on rides be that a day or overnight please contact our Ride Co-ordinator or Chair Person.  All suggestions welcome.

1 August Raffles at Royal Hotel. The raffles kick off around 1pm

 

7 - 8 August Feetchers Creek Camp. Bring the warm gear, this is usually a good ride. Kelly van will cater for the trip first meal lunch on Sat last meal breakfast Sunday. We will depart BP Cluden at 8am.

SBH Wheel and Walk Fun Run is on again…

When:   Sunday 22nd August 2010  Where:   Race starts and finishes at Captain Burke Park (under the Story Bridge).  Mark this date in your diary now!!! 2010 Poker Run 6 - 10 Sept

 Friday 3 Sept 2010 First push for those that can depart for Poker Run.  We will depart BP Cluden at 6am and over night in Emerald then on to Yuleba on Saturday.

SAT 4 Sept Second push for poker run departs BP Cluden at 6 am Camp in Emerald then onto Yuleba Sunday.  Ladies and gents the ride to Yuleba is 1082km 13 to 14 hours riding it’s up to you how you get there. If you want any questions answered please call me on 0412034518.

 

October 2010

2 - 3 October Kurramine Beach. Camp at King Reef Hotel Resort.  We will depart Yabulu at 9am. Van will cater for lunch Sat to breakfast Sunday.

 

2010 YNOT Rally

When: 30 - 31 October SCA Townsville Yknot Rally. This rally is run at Archers Creek, 14km West of Ravenshoe. There will be catering on site Friday night and breakfast Sat morning for those of us who choose to help setup on Friday and Saturday morning, and those of you who want to get there Friday . There will be the bar, music, and a gymkhana on the Saturday, the gymkhana will kick off around 2pm. For those of you who cannot make the Friday trip then depart Yaublu at 7am.  For those of us departing on Friday we will depart once all the gear is loaded, for anyone interested in helping out have a chat to me. 

 

Details: Archers Creek - 12km West of Ravenshoe.  Gold Coin Donation Entry.

November 2010

Sunday 14 November Raffles at Royal Hotel. The raffles kick off around 1pm

 

20 - 21 November Burdekin Dam. We will camp overnight, usually costs $5. Departing Saturday morning from BP Cluden at 8am. The Kelly Van will cater for lunch on Sat through to breakfast Sunday.
