News & Events in SCA

Welcome to our part of the world. we are here to raise money for children's charities and have a great time in the process.  A great group of people to ride and socialise with.  Come in, check out the people of Southern Cross and if the mood takes, come to one of our meeting, or meet with members in either Brisbane, Central Highlands, Capricorn Coast, Mackay, Townsville or Wide Bay.  Face Book

Who is Southern Cross?  We are a fun loving group of apparently mature adults who love to ride and socialise. Our group caters for a broad range of riders with our youngest being only 17 years old and our , eldest…. well, god knows!!!  Not all members ride bikes, however those that do ride all types of bikes ranging from little 250s through to bigger Japanese, British and American, including Trikes. 

Any funds raised go directly to our National Committee who distribute to these charities.  Our main annual fundraiser is our poker run held each September, this is a great event that is growing in numbers and support as each  year passes.

Other Activities

SCA members also attend any functions that the Spina Bifida Association runs such as camps, weekends away for teenagers, Christmas parties and fun days. The rides given to the children and their families during these events give obvious enjoyment for both the families and SCA members.
